Blair dojo head instructor is 1st degree Black Belt Dion Blair. Dion spent 15 years in the NZ Police as a Detective Sergeant in Sth Auckland, having to frequently draw on the self-discipline he learned from Kyokushin when he started in Dunedin as a 17 year old in 1988. Dion has taken his martial arts background with him into a close protection environment working as a bodyguard for bands such as Metallica and Slipknot. This brand new dojo in Christchurch is all about giving back and teaching students what he has learned and supporting their growth as they embark on their own martial arts journey.
